How to use Text Shuffler
Reorder a list or scramble a phrase without sending it to a server. Fisher–Yates shuffling keeps each entry exactly once, including duplicates.
- Paste a list or phrase.
- Choose line, word, or grapheme shuffling.
- Shuffle and copy the result; run again for another permutation.
Good to know
- Shuffles may legitimately produce the original order. No reproducible seed or audit trail is provided.
- Word mode normalizes whitespace to single spaces; line mode normalizes line endings to LF. At most 20,000 entries are accepted.
- This is a local rearrangement aid, not a certified contest or lottery system.
Common questions
Are duplicate entries removed?
No. Every original entry participates, even when several have the same text.
What provides the randomness?
Web Crypto provides random integers, and rejection sampling avoids modulo bias.
