How to use Source-order Ledger Balance Auditor

Reconcile each ledger group row by row while retaining the original source order. Computed before/after balances and optional reported-balance matches expose arithmetic discrepancies without assuming posting dates, debit conventions or account access.

  1. Enter input, ledger group columns json, signed amount column, optional reported balance column, computed balance column, opening key tuples and decimal balances json.
  2. Choose the settings for source-order ledger balance auditor, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 5,000 records, 1,000 explicit opening groups, 12 normalized decimal places per amount/balance and 350,000 output cell characters. Input decimal magnitude is bounded at 1 e 15.
  • Signed amounts are added in supplied order. No account connection, transaction posting, currency conversion, inferred opening balance, date sorting, accounting certification or financial advice. Blank reported cells are unverified rather than matched.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Can interleaved accounts affect each other’s balances?

No. Every exact group tuple has an independent explicitly supplied opening balance and running total. The output still follows the original interleaved row order.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
