How to use Dated Cash-flow Balance Planner

Group same-day amounts with compensated sums, order valid civil dates, then compute compensated cumulative closing balances. The minimum includes the opening balance; intraday sequencing is deliberately not inferred.

  1. Enter opening cash balance, json dated cash movements.
  2. Choose the stated convention and check the units and supported model.
  3. Calculate, inspect the result, then copy or download it.

Good to know

  • 1–1000 JSON rows [YYYY-MM-DD, signed amount], one currency and calendar-day netting only. No bank import, financing availability, solvency forecast or automatic persistence.
  • Runs locally. Text/JSON fields are capped at30,000 characters; stricter page-specific and numeric-string limits also apply. Numeric inputs are bounded to magnitude1e15 and nonzero magnitude at least1e-100 unless an exact-string mode states otherwise. Approximate summaries use12 significant digits; CSV numeric cells retain the complete stored value and potentially formula-like string cells gain a protective apostrophe; unsupported, non-finite or detected underflow states return an error.
  • Educational user-assumption arithmetic only. No live prices, laws, tax rules, quotes or financial advice.

Common questions

Can a positive closing balance hide an intraday shortfall?

Yes. This tool nets each civil day; it does not know the order or timing of transactions within that day.

Is the input uploaded or saved?

No. The tool calculates inside this browser tab and provides a local download; it does not persist your input.
