How to use Invoice Line Rounding and Reconciliation

Multiply quantities and prices, apply each discount, then split inclusive prices or add exclusive tax. Net lines are half-up rounded for the subtotal; tax is rounded per line or once per exact rate group before forming the total.

  1. Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.

  3. Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.

Good to know

  • 1–200 lines; decimal quantities, unit prices, discounts and tax rates use strings with at most six places. Quantity is 0–1,000,000, price 0–1,000,000,000, discount 0%–100% and supplied tax 0%–1,000%.
  • Nonnegative educational invoice arithmetic only. No credit notes, compound taxes, legal rounding rule, jurisdiction lookup, compliance certification or automatic correction. Inclusive split-and-round totals can differ from the entered gross by a cent.
  • Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.

Common questions

Does the report select the legally correct rounding level?

No. It applies your declared level and exposes the difference. The applicable invoice and tax rules depend on the relevant contract and jurisdiction and are not inferred here.

Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?

No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
