How to use Support Resolution Economics
A billed AI support outcome is not automatically a durable customer resolution. Compare declared charges with confirmed cohort outcomes and the human effort that remains.
- Choose nonoverlapping cohorts and one complete observation window.
- Enter charged/waived events independently from confirmed outcomes and human effort.
- Check vendor definitions, late reopenings and the complete bill before interpreting unit cost.
Good to know
- Counts are whole0–1,000,000 per cohort. Waived cannot exceed billable events; reopened cannot exceed confirmed resolved. A handoff is separate and may overlap outcome labels. No current vendor price or resolution definition is supplied.
- Fields are limited to8,000 characters; CSV has at most100 data rows and exact displayed headers. Quoted commas, newlines and doubled quotes are supported. Labels use1–200 characters. Ordinary nonnegative decimals have at most9 fractional places, magnitude999,999,999; whole counts and percentages have stricter displayed limits. No exponent notation. Results outside0.000000000001–1 quadrillion are refused, except zero.

Common questions
Are billable events and resolved customer problems equivalent?
No. They are separate inputs because billing definitions and observed customer outcomes can differ.
Why is unit cost undefined when the denominator is zero?
Dividing by zero would imply a meaningful efficiency result without an observed net resolution. The cost remains visible instead.
