How to use Plain Subtitle Workbench
Adjust explicit cue times and serialize a separate subtitle file. Cue payload text remains source data and no markup or video is mounted in the browser.
- Enter input, time shift in whole milliseconds.
- Choose the settings for plain subtitle workbench, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 100,000 characters,5000 cues,millisecond timing and a±one-day shift. No implicit sorting or overlapping-cue repair.
- Limited cue-only SRT/WebVTT profile: HH:MM:SS times, no settings/NOTE/STYLE/REGION/header metadata. SRT output replaces cue IDs with sequential numbers; payload source text is retained.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Does shifting change cue duration?
No. The same offset is added to both endpoints; a negative or oversized resulting timestamp is refused.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
