How to use Media Track Source Inventory
Inspect a static HTML excerpt without downloading any media. The report retains track URLs as inert strings and separates declared captions, subtitles and other kinds from the human checks needed for actual content accessibility.
- Enter input.
- Choose the settings for media track source inventory, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 100,000 markup characters, 20,000 parsed nodes, 60 nesting levels and 200 media elements. Templates and duplicate attributes are refused.
- A partial source inventory only. No track file is fetched, language syntax certified, caption quality evaluated or WCAG compliance claimed.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Does a captions declaration prove that captions work?
No. The file may be unavailable, incomplete or inaccurate. This local inventory only identifies source declarations to guide a separate playback and content review.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
