How to use Printable Graph and Ruled Paper Generator

Create original square, dotted, ruled or polar paper as a physical-size SVG or vector PDF. Choose page dimensions, measured millimeter spacing and margins. Grid placement starts at the upper-left margin; polar spokes run clockwise from the right. The same generated coordinates drive both export formats.

  1. Provide custom page width (mm), custom page height (mm), equal margins (mm), grid or circle spacing (mm), line width or dot radius (mm), six-digit hex color, polar angular divisions.
  2. Choose the supported mode and run the tool. Review its assumptions and any reported errors.
  3. Copy the result or download a separate output; reset to clear the current form.

Good to know

  • Pages from 50–500 mm per side; dimensions use at most two decimal places. Spacing is 0.5–50 mm; at most 20,000 primitives are accepted before allocation. An isolated worker allows 10 seconds for preparation and 2 seconds for generation; vector PDF output is capped at 4 million bytes.
  • Lines and dots touching the margin are clipped at that margin. Polar circles use the largest whole spacing count fitting the page; no automatic axis labels, logarithmic axes or stock templates.
  • SVG and vector PDF declare physical dimensions. Print at actual size with headers/footers disabled and verify a measured plain-paper sample; printer scaling and physical stock are not certified.
  • Inputs are processed on this device and are not automatically saved or uploaded.

Common questions

Why might the printed spacing differ from the value I entered?

A browser, PDF viewer or printer can fit the document to its printable area. Select actual size or 100%, then measure the result before relying on its physical dimensions.

Does this change my original input?

No. The tool returns a separate result. Review that output before using it in another application.
