How to use Explicit Answer Key Scorecard

Review objective response records without assigning meaning or subjective grades. Each question keeps correct, wrong and unanswered counts, while every student result retains an exact earned/possible point pair and a percentage rounded to two decimal places using exact decimal half-up arithmetic.

  1. Enter input, unique identifier column, question key json.
  2. Choose the settings for explicit answer key scorecard, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 5,000 CSV records, 50 questions, 20 accepted strings per question and four decimal places in positive point strings up to 1,000. Details show the first 1,000 records; CSV contains all accepted rows.
  • Only exact normalized string matches receive a question’s full points. There is no partial credit, semantic interpretation, negative marking or exam-system integration. Identifiers must be nonblank and unique; CSV formula prefixes are protected.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

How is an unanswered sheet different from a score of zero?

With exclude, unanswered questions leave the denominator, and a completely unanswered sheet has an empty percentage. With zero, those questions remain possible points and contribute zero earned points.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
