How to use Supported CSV Data Schema Validator
Validate cell data after CSV syntax is parsed. The explicit schema uses columns with name/type/required/minimum/maximum plus an optional primaryKey array; it is not a full CSVW implementation.
- Enter input, supported schema json.
- Choose the settings for supported csv data schema validator, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- Columns support string, safe integer, finite number, true/false boolean and YYYY-MM-DD date. No expressions, patterns, remote schemas or full CSVW semantics.
- At most 1,000 errors are displayed; counts cover all supported records.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Does this replace CSV syntax validation?
No. CSV syntax and record widths are checked first, then declared cell constraints are applied.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
