Integer Arithmetic Practice Sheet Builder

Generate distinct integer four-operation practice from your bounds, with unambiguous missing-number prompts and a printable student sheet plus optional teacher key.

✓ Browser-local processing
Use the complete example schema. Quantities are exact decimal strings with up to six places; do not replace them with JSON decimal numbers.

How to use Integer Arithmetic Practice Sheet Builder

Choose one or several arithmetic operations, two operand ranges and the number of questions. The tool forms only valid integer facts, removes ambiguous missing operands and optionally treats commutative mirror pairs as one fact. It interleaves the chosen operations with a reproducible replay number and creates separate printable student and optional teacher pages.

  1. Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.

  3. Calculate, inspect the complete report and limitations, then copy the report or download the generated printable HTML artifact.

Good to know

  • One to four distinct operations; each operand range is inside 0–99. One to 100 questions. Replay number is an exact JSON integer 0–4,294,967,295. Title uses at most 60 UTF-16 code units. Counts and bounds use plain integer JSON tokens; flags use true or false.
  • At most 40,000 ordered operand pairs are examined. Division requires a nonzero divisor and zero remainder. Negative subtraction results need explicit permission. If the chosen bounds/blank/dedup rules cannot supply enough distinct facts, the tool refuses instead of repeating questions.
  • Choose result, left, right or mixed blanks. Inverse problems with a zero multiplier or 0 ÷ ? = 0 do not have unique answers and are filtered. Optional commutative dedup treats mirrored addition/multiplication equations as one fact, regardless of blank position; noncommutative facts remain ordered. Operations with small or empty pools can receive fewer questions, with exact capacities/counts reported.
  • Replay selection is deterministic and cyclic, not uniform randomness or secure exam generation. A4/Letter HTML has 20 questions per student/key page, 12 mm outer margins and a separate genuinely omitted teacher option. Exact layout coordinates do not certify printer/browser/font pagination or curriculum/age suitability.
  • Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.

Common questions

Why are some missing-number problems not offered?

A prompt such as blank × 0 = 0 has many solutions, and 0 divided by a missing divisor also fails to identify one divisor. Those positions are excluded. You may choose a result blank or change the operand range; the capacity report shows how many distinct valid facts remain.

Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?

No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local printable HTML download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
