How to use Simultaneous Literal Token Substitution
Prepare a reviewed copy using a user-authored token map. Exact occurrences are chosen under a visible overlap policy, replacements are inserted once, and aggregate counts avoid repeating removed originals in the result report.
- Enter input, exact token/replacement map json.
- Choose the settings for simultaneous literal token substitution, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 100,000 source characters, 100 distinct token/label definitions of 1–100 characters, 10,000 occurrences, 10,000,000 planned scan characters and a 200,000-character result.
- Exact substring matching only. Labels must be distinct, absent from the original and contain no supplied source token. Leftmost-longest selects the longest token at the earliest start; no detection, word-boundary inference, anonymization or document-metadata guarantee.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Can a replacement trigger another replacement?
No. Every occurrence is found in the original source, and all chosen replacements are applied simultaneously. Inserted labels are never searched again.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
