How to use Supplied Dictionary Letter Tile Finder

Explore multiset letter constraints without querying a remote dictionary or borrowing a commercial word list. Every fitting word reports its actual blank substitutions and unused rack tiles, with exact all-tiles or any-fit policies.

  1. Enter input, ascii letter rack (? for a blank).
  2. Choose the settings for supplied dictionary letter tile finder, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 1–20 ASCII rack letters with up to two blanks, 20,000 supplied words of 1–24 letters, 200,000 source characters and at most 5,000 fitting results.
  • Original ASCII letters are checked before case normalization. No dictionary download, trademark word-list compatibility, board bonuses or game-score calculation. Duplicate normalized dictionary words are searched once.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Does a blank replace a real tile even when that letter is available?

No. The matcher consumes available real letters first, then uses blanks only for the remaining missing letters. The output records those substitutions explicitly.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
