How to use GPA Course Repeat Ledger

Supply your grade-point and earned-credit flags, then list terms chronologically. Apply all, latest-graded or highest-graded repeat selection, keep excluded grades outside the GPA denominator, and inspect each term snapshot plus final selected attempts.

  1. Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.
  2. Supply your grade-point and earned-credit flags, then list terms chronologically. Apply all, latest-graded or highest-graded repeat selection, keep excluded grades outside the GPA denominator, and inspect each term snapshot plus final selected attempts.
  3. Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.

Good to know

  • 1–30 grade labels, 1–20 ordered terms, up to 50 attempts per term and 300 total. Credits are positive exact strings up to 100; grade points 0–10. One course attempt per term; every repeated course must keep identical credits. No percentage-to-letter conversion or institutional grade scale is inferred.
  • Only GPA-bearing attempts enter repeat selection; highest-point ties choose the latest. Earned credits are counted once per course if any entered grade earns credit, independently of GPA replacement. Point-in-time snapshots are not a registrar’s retroactive transcript.
  • Optional projection uses positive values up to 1,000 new graded credits with no repeats and your target. Its min/max grade range does not prove attainability with specific discrete courses. No admission, official transcript, transfer-credit, graduation or institutional policy claim.
  • Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.

Common questions

Does the latest attempt always replace the earlier grade?

Only if you choose latest-graded in this model, and only among grades you mark with numeric GPA points. Actual institutional repeat rules differ. A non-GPA attempt does not erase a graded attempt here, and earned credit is tracked separately from the selected GPA attempts.

Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?

No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
