How to use Course Prerequisite Evidence Workbench
Supply unique completed-course facts and placement results, then express each candidate as required groups of alternative term sets. Every group needs one complete set. The report retains successful alternatives and every failing term without inventing future enrollment or grade conversions.
- Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.

- Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.
Good to know
- At most 200 completed courses, 50 placements, 50 candidates and 1,000 total terms. Each candidate has up to 8 groups, each group up to 8 alternative sets, each set up to 8 terms. A candidate with no groups has no entered prerequisites; empty groups and empty alternative sets are rejected.
- Scores are nonnegative author-entered scales: course scores up to 1,000, placement scores up to 1,000,000 and credits per course up to 1,000. Null course score proves completion only. Credits count each completed row once. No catalog parsing, co-requisite planning, repeat policy, degree audit, official registration eligibility or school approval is provided.
- Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.
Common questions
Does completing one candidate make another candidate eligible?
No. Every candidate is checked independently against the same entered completed facts. A course selected for future study, an in-progress record or a missing score is not silently credited. Add an actual completed fact only when it is appropriate for your own rules.
Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?
No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
