How to use Parking Time-block Fee Workbench
Enter one vehicle's nonoverlapping date-minute visits and an authored block tariff. Choose whether exceeding grace charges from entry or deducts the leading grace. Every midnight begins a new rounded segment and daily cap; inspect each charge witness.
- Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.
- Enter one vehicle's nonoverlapping date-minute visits and an authored block tariff. Choose whether exceeding grace charges from entry or deducts the leading grace. Every midnight begins a new rounded segment and daily cap; inspect each charge witness.
- Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.
Good to know
- Up to 30 visits; each lasts 1–10,080 minutes. Blocks 1–1,440 minutes; grace 0–1,440. Money is whole cents, nonnegative, at most 1 billion per entered amount. A null cap disables caps; zero cap makes each date free.
- This explicit calendar-day model is not a real operator quote: no variable tariff bands, rolling 24-hour cap, tickets, taxes, entry fees, zones, seconds or DST.
- Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.
Common questions
Does grace always subtract free minutes?
No. Waive-only makes visits within grace free, but a longer stay charges from entry. Deduct-leading instead removes the leading grace minutes. Both split remaining time at midnight before rounding, so a block crossing midnight may produce two charged segments.
Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?
No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
