How to use CSV to JSON
Move spreadsheet-style data into a JSON array without silently changing IDs, dates, or leading zeros. The first record supplies unique property names and all later records must have matching widths.
- Paste CSV with one non-empty, unique header row and choose its delimiter.
- Select Run tool to create a JSON record for every data row.
- Review the result, then copy it or download the generated file.
Good to know
- Up to 200,000 characters, 5,001 records, 200 columns, and 50,000 characters per cell. Quotes must follow CSV rules; output CSV uses formula-safe apostrophe prefixes where needed.
- All cells remain strings, including empty cells. Header names are case-sensitive and no type inference is performed.
Common questions
Why is 00123 still a string?
Converting it to a number would lose the leading zeros, so cell text is deliberately preserved.
