How to use Declared CSV Number Parser

Prepare imported numeric text with visible parsed, missing and invalid statuses. Original cells remain beside canonical exact decimal strings, so ambiguous separators and rejected values can be reviewed before further calculations.

  1. Enter input, selected columns json, exact missing tokens json, new column suffix.
  2. Choose the settings for declared csv number parser, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • Only explicit three-digit groups, ASCII digits and optional leading + or - are supported. Currency, exponents, parentheses, locale guessing and implicit missing tokens are not supported; output decimals are not rounded.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
