How to use Voice Agent Call Cost Ledger

Voice-agent invoices can combine multiple providers and bundled components. Keep every entered rate and inclusion decision visible before attributing a billing difference to usage.

  1. Enter actual billed call minutes with unique call IDs.
  2. List checked per-minute components and mark components already included in a bundle.
  3. Compare the exact modeled usage with the actual invoice, then explain taxes, rounding, credits or fixed charges separately.

Good to know

  • At most 500 call-component rows. Plain nonnegative decimal rates and minutes use rational arithmetic; no provider pricing is built in.
  • Included rows add zero and remain visible. Differently named overlapping charges cannot be discovered automatically; the operator must identify bundles correctly.
  • Invoice delta is not automatically an overcharge. Minimums, rounding, failed-call rules, taxes and fixed fees are not inferred.
  • Each field is limited to 8,000 UTF-16 characters; CSV inputs use the exact displayed header and at most 100 data rows. Quoted commas, doubled quotes and quoted newlines are supported. Empty/duplicate identities, unsupported controls and unpaired surrogates are refused.
  • Exports are editable review records. Spreadsheet-like text is apostrophe-prefixed in CSV to reduce formula execution risk; inspect your actual spreadsheet/import settings before sharing.
  • Everything runs locally in your browser. No AI model, upload, provider account, calendar, call, video render, automatic outreach, publication or saved input. Enter only information you are authorized to process; declarations remain unverified.

Common questions

Is the example a current Vapi or model price?

No. All rates are hypothetical inputs. Check your actual provider quotes and billing definitions before relying on a budget.

Why is an included component listed with zero added cost?

It documents a declared bundling decision while avoiding explicitly identified double counting. It does not validate the underlying contract.
