How to use URL Parser
Break an absolute web URL into a structured report using the browser URL standard. Percent-encoded paths remain visible, and query parameters are preserved as ordered name-value pairs.
- Paste an absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL without embedded credentials.
- Select Run tool to inspect its parsed components.
- Review the result, then copy it or download the generated file.
Good to know
- Up to 20,000 characters. Other schemes and embedded usernames/passwords are rejected.
- Parsing does not establish destination safety, resolve DNS, follow redirects, or make any network request. Browser URL normalization can change the written form.
Common questions
Why does an international hostname become xn-- text?
URL host normalization represents internationalized domain labels in their ASCII-compatible form.
