Sale-return Commission Adjustment Ledger

Audit dated sales and partial returns against an authored marginal commission table, with original-period recomputation and conserved cent adjustments.

✓ Browser-local processing
Use the complete example schema. Quantities are exact decimal strings with up to six places; do not replace them with JSON decimal numbers.

How to use Sale-return Commission Adjustment Ledger

Enter strictly increasing tier upper bounds ending in null and dated sale/return events. Link each return to an earlier sale. Recompute that original calendar month's net-sales commission after each event; report the difference between rounded period totals on the event date.

  1. Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.
  2. Enter strictly increasing tier upper bounds ending in null and dated sale/return events. Link each return to an earlier sale. Recompute that original calendar month's net-sales commission after each event; report the difference between rounded period totals on the event date.
  3. Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.

Good to know

  • Up to 20 tiers and 200 events; money is positive exact cents at most 1 billion per entered amount, percentages 0–100 with six places. Same-date events retain source order. A return cannot exceed its referenced sale's remaining amount.
  • Only the stated original-period net-sales marginal model is implemented. It is not a deal's original marginal-rate recovery, retroactive commission, quota/fiscal-year system, legal clawback entitlement, tax, payroll or software integration.
  • Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.

Common questions

Is this the commission clawback my employer must use?

No. This report applies one entered mathematical policy: reduce the original period's net sales, recompute marginal commission and post the rounded difference. Other policies recover an original deal rate or change current attainment, and can yield different answers. No entitlement or recovery action is inferred.

Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?

No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
