How to use Nonogram Clue Solution Inspector
Enumerate finite line patterns, propagate shared cells and branch on the smallest unresolved line domain until a proof, two witnesses or the declared budget.
- Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.
- Enumerate finite line patterns, propagate shared cells and branch on the smallest unresolved line domain until a proof, two witnesses or the declared budget.
- Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.
Good to know
- A 1–10 by 1–10 grid; each line has an ordered array of positive integer runs, or [] for an empty line. Givens use one width-matched 0/1/? string per row.
- Search is bounded to 10,000 nodes and 1,000,000 pattern checks. Optional nodeBudget is an integer 1–10,000. Only completed exhaustive search can establish infeasibility or uniqueness; two witnesses prove multiplicity without counting every solution.
- Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.
Common questions
Does an unfinished search mean the clues have no solution?
No. A budget stop is explicitly unknown. A retained completed grid still proves existence, but uniqueness requires either exhaustive search or a separate proof; this interface never treats a search limit as impossibility.
Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?
No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
