How to use IP CIDR Set Aggregator
Merge IPv4/IPv6 CIDRs or calculate exact set intersection and difference. BigInt intervals normalize network boundaries, merge adjacent coverage and decompose the result into an exact aligned CIDR cover. IPv4 and IPv6 remain separate address families.
- Provide cidr set a, cidr set b (optional).
- Choose the supported mode and run the tool. Review its assumptions and any reported errors.
- Copy the result or download a separate output; reset to clear the current form.
Good to know
- 1,000 CIDRs per set and10,000 output networks. Zone IDs, hostname resolution and guessed host reservations are unsupported.
- Difference means A minus B. Counts include all covered addresses; no routes, firewall rules or network settings are changed.
- Inputs are processed on this device and are not automatically saved or uploaded.
Common questions
Will host bits in a CIDR be retained?
The network is normalized to its aligned start. For example192.0.2.7/24 covers the same set as192.0.2.0/24; aggregation preserves the exact address set.
Does this change my original input?
No. The tool returns a separate result. Review that output before using it in another application.
