How to use Invoice Line Item Reconciler

Invoice totals can disagree because of quantity, discounts or rounding order. Reconcile one explicit calculation policy against the declared totals without silently choosing tax rules.

  1. Choose the rounding policy and enter quantities, unit prices, absolute line discounts and tax percentages.
  2. Enter the declared totals and any after-tax invoice discount or shipping amount.
  3. Investigate every difference and confirm whether this calculation order applies to the actual invoice.

Good to know

  • Single currency only, two-decimal money policy. Negative credit notes, mixed tax bases, inclusive taxes and jurisdictions with other rounding rules are unsupported. Tax rates and legality are not verified.
  • Fields are limited to8,000 characters; CSV has at most100 data rows and exact displayed headers. Quoted commas, newlines and doubled quotes are supported. Labels use1–200 characters. Ordinary nonnegative decimals have at most9 fractional places, magnitude999,999,999; whole counts and percentages have stricter displayed limits. No exponent notation. Results outside0.000000000001–1 quadrillion are refused, except zero.
  • Independent deterministic ToolJovia workflow. Inputs stay in this browser; no model call, vendor request, saved input, external workflow execution or message sending occurs. Outputs contain your entered records; review them before sharing. A modeled result is not proof of customers, revenue, regulatory compliance or vendor billing.

Common questions

How does half-even differ at an exact half cent?

It rounds toward an even cent; half-up rounds the positive midpoint upward. For example 0.025 becomes0.02 versus0.03.

Does a zero discrepancy validate the invoice?

No. Supplier, goods, tax rules, currency, approvals and source records still require separate checks.
