How to use GPU Job Capacity Budget

A GPU quote needs both billing units and a feasible delivery window. Plan the declared job list against an explicit GPU pool while retaining jobs that cannot fit as visible holds.

  1. Benchmark real jobs and enter their per-GPU memory and elapsed minutes.
  2. Enter identical available GPU count, usable per-GPU memory, checked rate and delivery window.
  3. Resolve every resource hold and compare both cost views with actual provider billing.

Good to know

  • At most100 jobs and 1,000 identical GPUs. Memory is per GPU; it is not pooled across devices. Scheduling is deterministic FIFO waves, not a provider reservation, distributed scheduler or optimal packing proof.
  • Each field is limited to8,000 characters and each CSV to100 data records. Use the exact displayed header; quoted commas, doubled quotes and quoted newlines are supported. IDs and short task descriptions are limited to 200 characters. Numbers use nonnegative ordinary decimal notation with at most 9 fractional places, magnitude at most 999,999,999; no scientific notation. Whole-count limits can be stricter. Results above 1 quadrillion or nonzero below 0.000000000001 are refused.
  • Independent deterministic ToolJovia workflow. It does not call an AI model, contact a vendor, fetch sources, send messages, save input or execute code. Editable outputs and downloads contain your data; review before sharing. A prepared plan does not verify customers, revenue or a vendor’s internal workflow.

Research behind this workbench

These cases explain the business mechanism. The workbench is ToolJovia's independent adaptation, not a claim about the company's internal workflow or an endorsement.

Common questions

Why can the pool-reservation cost exceed workload cost?

A reserved pool may sit partly idle while a long job finishes. The workload figure counts only declared job GPU-minutes.

Does a short partial schedule mean the whole project fits?

No. Any job held for GPU count or memory makes the all-jobs fit result false, even if the remaining schedule is short.
