How to use Literal Delimited Record Extractor

Turn repeated original text sections into reviewable CSV records without regular expressions or code. Independent literal field rules preserve exact extracted values, while ambiguous starts and incomplete records are reported or refused according to policy.

  1. Enter input, record start marker, record end marker, named literal field rules json.
  2. Choose the settings for literal delimited record extractor, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 100,000 source characters, 1,000 non-nested records, 20 named field rules, 100 characters per marker and 300,000 extracted field characters. Issue details are bounded.
  • Literal markers only, not an HTML/XML grammar, regex engine or scraper. Nested record starts are refused. A field uses its unique start and first following end; duplicate starts never produce a guessed value.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

What happens to an unfinished final record?

Report mode emits an explicitly incomplete row with unavailable fields; refuse mode yields no output. Text outside record sections is counted, and no missing value is invented.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
