How to use CSV Data Package Bundle Builder
Package a small collection of local tables with reviewable resource paths and field declarations. The ZIP keeps original bytes while the descriptor declares a deliberately conservative comma-separated UTF-8 string profile, avoiding guessed numeric types or licenses.
- Enter original csv files, lowercase package name.
- Choose the settings for csv data package bundle builder, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 20 files, 200,000 bytes per CSV, 4 MiB combined source, 5,000 records and 100 fields per CSV, a 200,000-character descriptor and a 5 MiB ZIP.
- Frictionless v1 narrow tabular profile; every field is a string. Original formula prefixes, BOM and line endings are preserved, so spreadsheet safety is not implied. No unpacking, type inference, remote resource access or importer compatibility certification.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Are the CSV files cleaned or rewritten?
No. Their exact original bytes are stored under generated safe paths and hashed. Inspect the descriptor and source data before distribution; metadata describes the supplied tables without changing them.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
