How to use CSV Multivalue Exploder
Turn one declared list column into a normalized record set. Choose a literal separator or a JSON string-array grammar and explicitly decide how empty lists participate.
- Enter input, list column, literal separator.
- Choose the settings for csv multivalue exploder, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- Up to100,000 input characters,5000 records and100 columns per table. Downloads quote cells, protect formula-like values and disambiguate colliding exported headers.
- One selected column, at most 1000 members per cell and5000 output records. Literal members retain whitespace; no Cartesian products or inferred separators.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Can a separator inside a list item be escaped?
Literal mode has no escape grammar. Use a JSON string array when items contain the chosen separator.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
