How to use CSV Conditional Record Rule Auditor

Audit cross-field rules such as a chosen status requiring a code or an end value not preceding its start. Each rule reports passed, failed, skipped and indeterminate records separately; invalid numeric data cannot quietly turn into zero or a passing comparison.

  1. Enter input, rule objects json.
  2. Choose the settings for csv conditional record rule auditor, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 200,000 CSV characters,5000 records,30 rules and 100 detailed failure/indeterminate witnesses per rule. Witness output is preflighted at 350,000 characters.
  • Supported predicates: eq, ne, empty, nonempty, lt, le, gt, ge. Comparisons use one literal string or another column; no arbitrary expression language, regular expression, SQL or repair operation. Witness cell evidence is limited to 200 characters.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Does an invalid number count as a rule failure?

It is explicitly indeterminate when you choose reporting, or it stops the operation when you choose refusal. It never becomes a successful numeric comparison.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
