How to use App Runtime Budget Guardrails

A small app can be inexpensive to build and costly to run. Enter your checked billing units and allowances, then produce a transparent operating budget with explicit warning and stop criteria.

1. Check the exact billing unit and included allowance for each resource.
2. Enter observed or explicitly assumed use, rates, fixed cost and budget in one currency.
3. Configure actual platform alerts separately and reconcile this plan against a real usage report.

Good to know

• The model uses simple linear overage rates and separate additive allowances only. Zero rates do not prove resources are free; no live provider pricing, currency conversion or spend enforcement is provided.
• Each field is limited to8,000 characters and each CSV to100 data records. Use the exact displayed header; quoted commas, doubled quotes and quoted newlines are supported. IDs and short task descriptions are limited to 200 characters. Numbers use nonnegative ordinary decimal notation with at most 9 fractional places, magnitude at most 999,999,999; no scientific notation. Whole-count limits can be stricter. Results above 1 quadrillion or nonzero below 0.000000000001 are refused.
