How to use User Glossary Consistency Checker
Apply your own small terminology glossary without rewriting prose or guessing meaning. Conflicting glossary rules are refused first; findings retain the actual matched spelling and zero-based UTF16 offsets for review.
- Enter input, preferred/variant glossary json.
- Choose the settings for user glossary consistency checker, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 100,000 source/glossary characters each,200 rules,10 variants per rule,100 characters per term and5000 findings. A stricter5,000,000 character-rule scan budget can refuse large combinations.
- Word-boundary mode checks adjacent Unicode letters, marks, numbers and underscore. It is not language-aware morphology, translation QA or ITS/TBX parsing. No automatic replacement.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Will a preferred term be flagged by a conflicting rule?
The entire conflicting glossary is refused before scanning. Review your declared preferred terms and variants instead of accepting inconsistent corrections.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
