How to use Grouped Table Fill-Gaps Workbench
Create a separate CSV copy while retaining source record order. Every replacement reports its original token, value and copied-from record, so a fill can be reviewed rather than silently accepted as observed data.
- Enter input, grouping columns (blank for one group), columns to fill, missing tokens json.
- Choose the settings for grouped table fill-gaps workbench, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 200,000 characters,5000 records,50 selected columns and5000 changed cells. Source order is the only ordering rule.
- Exact group tuples prevent cross-group propagation even when groups are interleaved. Unfillable endpoints stay unchanged. This is a data edit, not an imputation model.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Can groupB inherit the last value of groupA?
No. Values are cached separately for each exact group key. Review the copied-from record in every change.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
