How to use SVG Shape and Pattern Generator

Create your own simple vector source from fixed geometry controls and literal HEX colors. Patterns use an SVG tile whose opposite edges repeat without rotation. A local PNG preview shows the generated source; downloaded SVG remains editable.

  1. Load the synthetic example or enter your own bounded input.
  2. Run locally and inspect the result before downloading.
  3. Copy the text report or download the generated artifact.

Good to know

  • SVG dimensions 32–2000 per side; PNG preview at most 1024×1024. Only fixed primitives and internal pattern references are emitted. No arbitrary SVG, CSS, HTML, scripts, remote URLs, fonts or file input.
  • Shape stroke width is at most one quarter of the shorter side. Polygon/star rotation is about the center; the shape uses the chosen horizontal and vertical extents and may be non-regular in pixel distance when width differs from height.
  • Patterns ignore shape stroke, star points and rotation; tile size controls a truly periodic unrotated repeat. This is a source generator, not a general vector editor.

Common questions

Is the downloaded SVG a raster image?

It contains simple vector shapes and can be edited as source. The displayed preview is a separately rendered PNG.

Can I paste an existing SVG here?

No. The tool accepts only the fixed numeric and color controls needed to create these shapes and patterns.
