How to use Manual Screenshot Stitcher
Join ordered raster screenshots with explicit overlaps and sideways offsets. Choose vertical or horizontal layout, supply one overlap per seam and one perpendicular offset per image. A preflight computes every placement and final dimensions before decoding and drawing inputs in order.
- Provide ordered raster files, seam overlaps json, per-image perpendicular offsets json.
- Choose the supported mode and run the tool. Review its assumptions and any reported errors.
- Copy the result or download a separate output; reset to clear the current form.
Good to know
- Static PNG, baseline JPEG or simple VP8/VP8L WebP; each≤8MiB,4,000,000 pixels and4,096px per side. Progressive JPEG, VP8X/animated WebP, APNG and compressed PNG profiles/text or PNG EXIF are excluded. Full container structure is checked before native decoding; this is not a complete codec validator. Browser decoding/export can still reject a file or change color profiles. Output is a fresh PNG without original container metadata.
- 2–10 inputs/20MiB,8,388,608 combined source+output pixels; output≤8,192px per side. Overlaps must be smaller than both neighboring lengths.
- Manual geometry only, no automatic content alignment, OCR or panorama matching. Later images paint over the overlapping earlier pixels; offsets can leave transparent margins.
- Inputs are processed on this device and are not automatically saved or uploaded.
Common questions
Will it automatically find matching content?
No. Enter the seam overlaps and review the result. The tool follows that exact plan and reports placements rather than guessing a content match.
Does this change my original input?
No. The tool returns a separate result. Review that output before using it in another application.
