How to use Record-aware File Splitter
Keep quoted CSV rows and JSON records intact instead of cutting arbitrary bytes. Every CSV part repeats the header; generated filenames and a manifest make the part order explicit.
- Enter local file, records per part.
- Choose the settings for record-aware file splitter, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 200,000-byte UTF-8 input,5000 records and50 parts. Generated ZIP is stored without compression; no archive import or extraction.
- CSV is reserialized with formula-protected cells and repeated headers. NDJSON is parsed/reserialized, so whitespace and numeric spelling can change.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Can a quoted multiline CSV record be split?
No. Part boundaries are chosen after CSV parsing, so the entire logical record remains in one part.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
