How to use OPML2 Outline Workbench

Move a small outline between source formats without following feed or website URLs. The output tree preserves parsed outline attributes as data; generation accepts only a named attribute subset.

  1. Enter local file, json outline array for generation.
  2. Choose the settings for opml2 outline workbench, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 200,000-byte UTF-8 file,5000 outlines and30 levels. Browser XML parsing is inert and refuses DOCTYPE/entities.
  • Generation supports text,type,xmlUrl,htmlUrl and children only. URL strings remain escaped attributes and are never fetched; OPML import does not subscribe to feeds.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Will importing an outline contact its feeds?

No. The tool reads structure only and never opens a listed destination.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
