How to use Meeting Action Evidence Register

A proposed action should be traceable to the text that a reviewer actually has. Check exact source quotations alongside ownership and due dates, then approve the assignments with the participants.

  1. Paste authorized meeting text and proposed actions as separate records.
  2. Supply actual owner, due date and an exact source quotation for each action.
  3. Resolve missing or repeated evidence, then edit and obtain participant approval.

Good to know

  • Unlike a general minutes template, this checks each proposed action against supplied source text. It does not transcribe, infer commitments, establish attendance or send reminders.
  • Offsets are zero-based UTF-16 positions and lines are one-based in the exact pasted text. Repeated quotations are ambiguous; a matched quote still requires semantic approval.
  • Use the exact displayed CSV header. Quoted commas, doubled quotes and quoted line endings are supported; malformed quoting or uneven rows are refused. CSV exports prefix text cells resembling spreadsheet formulas with an apostrophe.
  • Local deterministic processing: no AI model calls, uploads, account connections, messages or saved input. Review any downloaded artifact before sharing.

Research behind this workbench

Common questions

Does an exact source match prove the owner agreed?

No. It locates text for review. A person must check speaker identity, intent and acceptance of the actual commitment.

Why does a repeated quote remain unresolved?

Choosing one occurrence would invent context. Use a longer unique quotation or clarify the proposed record.
