How to use JSON Minifier
Create compact JSON for a request body, fixture, or configuration export. The tool parses the document before serializing it, so invalid syntax produces an error instead of a misleading compact file.
- Paste a valid JSON document with any amount of whitespace.
- Select Run tool to produce compact JSON.
- Review the result, then copy it or download the generated file.
Good to know
- Up to 100,000 input characters, 10,000 values, and 40 nesting levels. Standard JSON numbers use JavaScript precision; duplicate keys retain their last value.
- Comments and trailing commas are unsupported. This is whitespace reduction, not file compression.
Common questions
Does minifying change string spaces?
No. Whitespace inside JSON strings remains part of the value.
