How to use Image Perspective Editor
Rectify a convex raster quadrilateral into a bounded rectangular PNG. Four source pixel-center corners map to output corners through a checked homography. Nearest or alpha-aware bilinear sampling runs in an isolated worker; no user shader or image markup is executed.
- Provide raster image, corners [top-left,top-right,bottom-right,bottom-left], output width, output height.
- Choose the supported mode and run the tool. Review its assumptions and any reported errors.
- Copy the result or download a separate output; reset to clear the current form.
Good to know
- Static PNG, baseline JPEG or simple VP8/VP8L WebP; each≤8MiB,4,000,000 pixels and4,096px per side. Progressive JPEG, VP8X/animated WebP, APNG and compressed PNG profiles/text or PNG EXIF are excluded. Full container structure is checked before native decoding; this is not a complete codec validator. Browser decoding/export can still reject a file or change color profiles. Output is a fresh PNG without original container metadata.
- Source/output≤1,048,576 pixels; source≤4,096px per side, output≤8,192px per side. Corners must be inside the oriented source and form a strictly convex shape; poorly conditioned transforms are rejected.
- 10-second worker startup then2-second sampling limit. This is raster rectification, not camera calibration, metrology or recovery of missing image detail.
- Inputs are processed on this device and are not automatically saved or uploaded.
Common questions
What coordinates should I enter?
Use source pixel centers, from0 to width−1 and0 to height−1, in top-left/top-right/bottom-right/bottom-left order around a convex region.
Does this change my original input?
No. The tool returns a separate result. Review that output before using it in another application.
