How to use iCalendar File Inspector
Inventory a supplied calendar file as literal data. Unknown properties, timezone references and recurrence declarations remain visible instead of being silently interpreted or imported.
- Enter local file.
- Choose the settings for icalendar file inspector, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 200,000-byte UTF-8 file,100,000 decoded characters,1000 events,10,000 lines and20 component levels.
- Content-line inventory only. Nested alarm properties are not part of event-CSV; component types are reported. No recurrence expansion, timezone conversion, alarm execution or invitations.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Does a listed event mean it has been added to my calendar?
No. The tool only reads the selected file and creates a separate local report.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
