How to use HTML Table Extractor
Read actual table rows from an inert syntax tree. Rowspan and colspan repeat the source cell text in covered grid positions so the exported rectangle remains understandable.
- Enter input, table number.
- Choose the settings for html table extractor, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- 100,000 HTML characters,100 tables,1000 rows,100 columns and10,000 expanded cells. The first row becomes headers; duplicate/blank exported headers are labeled.
- Static markup only. Nested tables are excluded from row ownership but their text can appear in a cell. No CSS visibility, browser layout, links or scripts are executed.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Are spans kept as merged cells in CSV?
CSV has no merged cells. This tool repeats the source text over the covered rectangle and reports the policy explicitly.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
