How to use GTM Experiment Budget Planner

Keep a small go-to-market experiment inside a predeclared spending and decision boundary. Compare your actual same-cohort observations rather than mistaking a generated outreach plan for demand.

  1. Declare each channel, its actual test offer, allocated budget and a hard total cap.
  2. Enter observed same-cohort offers, replies, qualified outcomes and customers without inventing missing activity.
  3. Review cost denominators and obey the spend/decision-day stopping conditions.

Good to know

  • Counts are supplied observations, not independently verified traffic, customers, attribution or causal results. Do not mix cohorts or compare uncontrolled channels as an A/B test.
  • Zero customers gives N/A CAC. The qualified target is a decision threshold, not validated demand or revenue. Only entered spend is counted; labor and unentered costs are excluded.
  • Use the exact displayed CSV header. Quoted commas, doubled quotes and quoted line endings are supported; malformed quoting or uneven rows are refused. CSV exports prefix text cells resembling spreadsheet formulas with an apostrophe.
  • Local deterministic processing: no AI model calls, uploads, account connections, messages or saved input. Review any downloaded artifact before sharing.

Research behind this workbench

These cases explain the business mechanism. The workbench is ToolJovia's independent adaptation, not a claim about the company's internal workflow or an endorsement.

Common questions

Why is CAC N/A when no customers are recorded?

There is no customer denominator. Reporting zero would falsely suggest free acquisition; it remains unknown for that experiment.

Will the planner find prospects, buy ads or contact people?

No. It is a local budget and observation ledger with no accounts, messages, tracking links or payments.
