How to use Finite-lot Acceptance Plan Workbench

Count simple-random sample outcomes exactly, search sample size then acceptance number and retain the achieved producer/consumer risks plus operating-characteristic checkpoints.

  1. Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.
  2. Count simple-random sample outcomes exactly, search sample size then acceptance number and retain the achieved producer/consumer risks plus operating-characteristic checkpoints.
  3. Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.

Good to know

  • Lot size 1–10,000; two integer defective counts with good < bad. Sample cap 1–min(lot, 200). Risk limits are exact decimal strings from 0 through 1.
  • Uniform sampling without replacement and perfect defect classification. One finite lot and one sample, with no inspection-error, sequential plan, prior distribution, official AQL standard, certificate or authorization to release a product.
  • Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.

Common questions

Does no plan within the cap mean sampling cannot work?

No. It is a complete search only up to your declared cap. A larger sample can behave differently; the returned status keeps that bounded conclusion separate from a global infeasibility claim.

Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?

No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
