How to use Duplicate-preserving CSV Reconciler

Reconcile extracts that legitimately contain repeated rows or repeated key tuples. Header alignment and selected identity fields are explicit, and bounded discrepancy details sit beside counts that cover all accepted records.

  1. Enter before csv, after csv, selected identity columns json.
  2. Choose the settings for duplicate-preserving csv reconciler, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 5,000 records and 200,000 characters per side. Details contain at most 1,000 discrepant tuples and 200,000 tuple-text characters; all aggregate occurrence counts remain complete.
  • Exact text and duplicate counts only. Full-record mode requires the same header set; selected columns intentionally ignore other values. Reordered records are equivalent, and no unique entity identity is inferred.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Why not require one unique key per record?

Repeated observations are the task here. A bag comparison records how many times each exact tuple appears, so losing one of two identical copies is a visible discrepancy.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
