How to use CSV Row Filter

Extract relevant records using equals, contains, starts-with, or does-not-contain matching. Conditions are literal strings, so punctuation has no regex or SQL meaning.

  1. Enter the exact column, a literal comparison value, and a condition.
  2. Select Run tool to keep matching rows in their original order.
  3. Review the result, then copy it or download the generated file.

Good to know

  • Up to 200,000 characters, 5,001 records, 200 columns, and 50,000 characters per cell. Quotes must follow CSV rules; output CSV uses formula-safe apostrophe prefixes where needed.
  • No expression language, regex, multiple-condition builder, or numeric range inference. An empty contains value matches every row.

Common questions

Can a filter expression execute code?

No. Values are compared as literal text; expressions are not evaluated.
