How to use Categorical Observation Grid Auditor

Check whether a small collection of observations covers the combinations you declared. Exact domain tuples distinguish missing cells, replicated observations and values outside the expected domain without inventing records or judging an experimental design.

  1. Enter input, factor columns and expected domains json.
  2. Choose the settings for categorical observation grid auditor, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 5,000 observations, six factors, 1,000 expected Cartesian cells, 100 characters per domain value and 200,000 planned tuple characters. Each replicated cell retains its first 10 record witnesses.
  • Exact category strings and explicitly supplied domains only. Replication is not automatically an error; the tool does not assess randomization, treatment effects, statistical power or experimental validity.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Are missing combinations filled with made-up observations?

No. Missing expected tuples are reported as missing. Original observations stay unchanged, and out-of-domain records remain separate from the planned grid.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
