How to use Declared Classroom Seat Plan

Review a room arrangement you already chose. Exact seat coordinates keep names in their intended places, empty cells remain visible, and each supplied apart pair has a transparent row/column-distance witness. The tool does not turn a small source grid into an assumed room-safety or teaching recommendation.

1. Supply a grid size, one named person per occupied row/column coordinate and explicit apart pairs.
2. Choose orthogonal-only or diagonal-touching adjacency, then run.
3. Inspect every violation and the separate printable chart before changing your real arrangement.

Good to know

• At most 10 rows, 10 columns, 60 occupied seats and 200 unique unordered apart pairs. IDs at most 40 characters and names at most 80; both must be nonempty well-formed Unicode.
• JSON numeric source tokens are checked for exact integer values before rounded parsed numbers can pass coordinates. Equivalent integral exponent spellings are allowed within the bounded parser profile. Duplicate IDs, occupied coordinates and apart pairs are refused.
• Orthogonal adjacency means row-distance plus column-distance equals 1. Touching adjacency also includes diagonals, using maximum distance equals 1. Coordinates increase down/right from the declared front; empty cells are not measured aisles.
• This does not solve a new seating assignment or assess evacuation, wheelchair routes, physical dimensions, room occupancy, building codes or learning needs. Downloaded names and IDs remain private source data until you decide to share them.
• Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
