How to use Battery Load Profile Energy Scenario

Each segment withdraws power × duration ÷ efficiency watt-hours. Exact rational energy accounting serves each load until the entered reserve is reached. The export identifies the crossing time, served durations and unmet portions of the planned profile.

  1. Enter load json (label, powerw, durationhours, efficiency), entered usable capacity (wh), initial capacity fraction, reserved capacity fraction.
  2. Choose the stated convention and check the units and supported model.
  3. Calculate, inspect the result, then copy or download it.

Good to know

  • Exact-grid inputs are plain decimals with at most six places and magnitude≤1e9. Raw JSON number spelling is checked before conversion; decimal strings can preserve exact grid values. Exact rational intermediates are bounded to 8192 bits. 1–100 sequential segments, positive duration in hours, nonnegative watts and efficiency in (0, 1]. Capacity is entered usable Wh, not Ah. Initial and reserve are fractions of that capacity with reserve no larger than initial. No charging, simultaneous overlapping segments, voltage curve, temperature, aging, Peukert effect, BMS behavior or emergency-runtime/safety guarantee. Zero-power segments can elapse at reserve.
  • Local calculation only; no input persistence or external lookup. Text/JSON is limited to 30000 characters and output to 1000000 characters. Numeric model inputs and precision/work limits are stated on this page. Approximate JSON numbers retain full stored values; exact arithmetic outputs retain decimal or fraction strings. Unsupported states fail explicitly.
  • Educational user-assumption arithmetic only. No live prices, laws, tax rules, quotes or financial advice.

Common questions

Can I use this as a guaranteed backup runtime?

No. It only balances the usable energy and load assumptions you enter. Real equipment limits, conversion losses over time, temperature, battery condition and shutdown behavior can materially change runtime.

Is the input uploaded or saved?

No. The tool calculates inside this browser tab and provides a local download; it does not persist your input.
