Freelance with AI: scope before quoting

Build a reviewable delivery agreement and a realistic price before treating automation as extra margin.

Find the acceptance standard

An output count alone is not a service scope. Identify the buyer, source material, permitted usage, deadline, review process and what a useful result looks like. Use HeadshotPro to study a packaged delivery and Rezi to examine a career-document product; neither proves demand for your own service.

Quote human review explicitly

Include fact checking, rights review, support and revisions as real work. Compare modeled cash surplus with the result after valuing your own labor. A low API bill is not the full cost of delivery.

Make the proposal inspectable

List deliverables, acceptance checks, number of revisions, client dependencies, exclusions, deposit and balance. ToolJovia provides an editable draft, not a signed legal contract. Review it for your situation and send it yourself only when ready.

Track the pilot

Measure accepted deliverables, revisions, actual hours and collected payment. Adjust the next quote using these observations rather than a founder's headline revenue.
