How to use Responsive Media Query Builder

Combine inclusive pixel-width bounds with selected media and device-preference conditions. The live match indicator follows the browser environment while the exported CSS provides a complete show/hide rule for your own target.

  1. Choose the bounded settings and select Run tool.
  2. Inspect the native preview and generated CSS. Smaller screens can scroll inside a fixed-size layout preview.
  3. Copy or download the CSS, then adapt selectors and test real content in your own project.

Good to know

  • The indicator describes this browser’s current media environment, not another device, a screenshot or server user agent. Feature support can vary.
  • Width bounds are inclusive CSS pixels. A maximum of 0 means no upper bound. Pointer/hover describe the primary input; no any-pointer/any-hover aggregation or browser support guarantee.
  • No HTML or CSS input is executed. Only known properties, enumerated choices and bounded numbers reach this preview. No data leaves this tab.

Common questions

Is the generated CSS ready for every production page?

Use a suitable target and declarations in context. Check keyboard access, hidden content, print behavior and preferred motion, and test the browsers you support.

Does the preview upload information or import a framework?

No. It uses native browser rendering with original local demonstration content. It makes no external requests, saves no history and requires no framework.
